Warranty Policy
General Terms and Warranty Conditions
Artila Electronics offers a warranty period of five years from delivery date onwards.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
- This warranty policy covers repairs or replacements for defective products within the warranty period. Artila reserves the right to make the final judgment.
- If a defect is found within 30 days of the product's shipment and there is no visible damage to components or appearance, the product is considered DOA. Artila will replace the DOA product.
- After 30 days from shipment, customer encounters issues, they should provide product details to Artila or the original distributor for assessment before sending the product for repair.
- The customer is responsible for paying shipping and customs fees for sending the product to Artila. The product should be packaged in its original or similar packaging. The customer may need to insure the product or assume the risk of loss or damage during transit.
- Before sending the product for repair, the customer must back up any data or configurations stored on the product. Artila is not responsible for any data or configuration loss during the repair process.
DOA Policy and Product Replacement Criteria
For defects found within 30 days from the date of delivery, Artila provides a replacement service under the following terms:
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, including any accessories.
- Replacement can only be requested if the product arrived damaged and was not damaged due to misuse or unauthorized repair.
- Artila reserves the right to determine if the damage was caused by natural disasters, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, or external factors such as power interference, device failures, or improper installation. Such cases are subject to standard repair services and the RMA process.
- Customers must return DOA products within 7 days of the request. Otherwise, Artila will invoice the customer for the replacement product.
- Artila will cover the shipping cost for DOA products returned to their facility. However, if the product does not meet DOA criteria, Artila will invoice the customer for shipping.
Warranty Exclusions Terms and Conditions
The following are not covered under the warranty, but Artila will offer repair services for a fee:
- Products repaired by non-Artila personnel.
- Products with altered or unrecognizable serial or MAC labels.
- Defective products that are beyond the warranty period.
- Products damaged by misuse or abuse, including environmental factors outside the product's specifications. Artila reserves the right to determine repair eligibility.
- Damage due to external factors like water, fire, or other environmental conditions not covered by product specifications. Such cases are considered non-standard use and are not covered under warranty.
- Consumables, such as batteries, cables, or fuses.
- Products modified or tested improperly by the customer or third parties at the customer's request.
Service Terms and Charges
Within Warranty Repairs
- Artila will not charge repair fees for products within the warranty.
- For products out of warranty or not covered under warranty, repair fees will apply.
- The customer is responsible for shipping fees to Artila’s facility, including any customs fees.
- Artila will cover the cost of shipping the repaired product back to the customer.
Outside Warranty Repairs
- Repair fees will be charged for products out of warranty or for damages not covered under warranty.
- Artila will provide a detailed repair quote. Repairs will proceed upon customer agreement.
- If the customer decides not to proceed with repairs, the defective product will be returned, and the customer must cover return shipping costs if the product is out of warranty.
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from the Artila repair center, including any customs fees.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty policy supersedes any other expressed or implied warranties, written or oral. Artila's liability for product manufacturing, sale, supply, and usage is limited to the original product cost. Artila is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profit or usage, due to the manufacturing, sale, or supply of the product.
