Artila Releases New C Programmable I/O Controller Module RIO-2015PG

Artila is proud to release RIO-2015PG, the new FreeRTOS programmable remote I/O module.

RIO-2015PG is powered by a 32-bit ATMEL SAM4E16E 120MHz ARM Cortex M4 processor which is equipped with 256KB SRAM, 3MB Flash and FreeRTOS real time operating system. The industrial I/O of RIO-2015PG features one 10/100 MHz Ethernet port, one RS-232, one isolated RS-485, four isolated analog input channels, two isolated analog output channels, four isolated digital input and two channels of relay and one 1-wire interface for temperature or humidity sensors.

RIO-2015PG is shipped with a FreeRTOS+lwIP board support package (BSP), device manager utility and example programs. Users can download the Toolchain, Atmel Studio from Atmel web site. A tiny web server is available in RIO-2015PG and is ready for customer’s web-based application. Example programs which demonstrate serial and Ethernet data communication, Web configuration and I/O controls are available in the RIO-2015PG application development kit. The device manager utility featuring device discovery, network configuration, user’s web page and firmware upload is also included. An example program which demonstrates how to push sensor data to IBM Bluemix using MQTT is also included for quick sensor to cloud application development.

Low power consumption of ARM cortex M4 plus high efficiency of FreeRTOS make RIO-2015PG an ideal light weight computing platform for device networking and remote monitoring.

Artila Releases New Cortex-A5 Based Industrial Embedded Linux Computer Matrix-700

Artila is proud to release Matrix-700, Cortex-A5 based industrial embedded Linux computer.

Matrix-700 is such as fanless, long term stability, faster flash memory, flexible input / output function and smaller dimension, etc., powered by a ATMEL 536MHz ATSAMA5D35 Cortex-A5 CPU which is equipped with 512MB SDRAM, 8MB Flash and especially suitable for 24/7/365 non-stop running for unmanned application environment. The industrial embedded Linux computer of Matrix-700 features one Gigabit and one 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports, two USB 2.0 high speed (480Mbps) Host ports, four software configurable RS-232 / 485 serial ports, one microSD socket, one USB client port which can be powered directly and function as console.

Matrix-700 is shipped with Linux kernel 3.18.x and file system plus many software utilities such as web server, PHP, python, MySQL and SQLite. Users can download the Toolchain, Package Management from Artila web site. User also can use apt-get to upgrade Toolchain on local site via Ethernet. Webmin is available in Matrix-700 and is ready for customer’s web-based application. User can setup user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing and much more.
