Matrix-504 is a concise and light, robust and reliable ARM + Linux embedded computer, which has a built-in data base and a web server. After connecting to internet and login to Matrix-504, the parameter setting or data reading from the equipment can be done directly through a remote computer, which effectively reduces the loading of internet and servers so that the overall efficiency and stability of IoT can be improved as well as the complexity and construction cost can be reduced.
Front-end equipments can upload data to a Matrix-504 via Modbus or other industrial communication protocols, and the Matrix-504 will send the collected data to a cloud server to enable a bi-directional data communication between factory and cloud. Matrix-504 has data acquisition, data buffering, resume after disconnection and other functions that can guarantee data safety by preventing loss of data due to network disconnection.

Description
Most of traditional household appliances cannot connect to internet directly, while it takes a long time for the change and evolution from design aspect. However, as the development trend of IoT is rapidly spreading into the household market, a stable and reliable gateway is expected to be developed for reading traditional control signals at one end and connecting to cloud platforms at the other end.
Matrix-504 is an IoT gateway that meets customer needs. In such application structure, customers can connect dehumidifiers, total heat exchangers, water filtering system and other traditional appliances through the PLC, and convert the signals of voltage and current generated from these appliances to digital data, which then could be transmitted to Matrix-504 in serial signals via the Modbus communication protocol. Then, with Matrix-504's communication capability the data can be preliminarily process and transfer to a cloud database via Ethernet, WiFi, 3G, 4G and other wireless network. Also, the cloud platform offers a graphical webpage interface for users to monitor the power status and fulfill the requirement of remote monitoring and data analysis. Users can execute a command remotely to turn on/off an equipment via mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices, by which the all-round household environment conditions can be adjusted.
Matrix-504 enables developers to connect traditional household appliances to a cloud server in the simplest and fastest way, by which to immediately upgrade them into intelligent appliances that can be controlled and monitored by remote units for the intelligent adjustment and control function of household environmental conditions, and to effectively attain the purpose of energy saving.
